Who’s Going To Be Trump’s Running Mate?

Former President Donald Trump will allocate the better part of his weekend seemingly hosting the latest episode of “The Apprentice.” However this time it’s for something much more important, the vice presidential candidate.

There are at least six contenders for the former president’s running mate – Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.; Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio; Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.; Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y.; South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem; and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum. All the aforementioned prospective candidates will attend a Republican donor retreat with Trump on Friday and Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida. Purportedly they are there to audition for the position.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Republican leaders and supporters to come together,” says the invitation to the event, which also will include panel discussions featuring campaign officials and Republican lawmakers that are closed to the media.
