Cavs Rally Past Magic For First Playoff Series Victory!

The victorious Cavaliers are now heading to Boston.

The Cavs spearheaded a miraculous comeback, in order to beat the Orlando Magic 106-94 in Game 7 of their opening-round series Sunday afternoon at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

It was dramatic. That’s because at one point in the first half the Cavs actually trailed by 18 points. Even so, somehow they managed to pull off a furious comeback, ultimately ousting the Magic from the playoffs altogether in the process.

This critical victory represented the first playoff series win for the Cavaliers since 2018. Notwithstanding, it was also their first without LeBron James on the roster in three decades.

Now the lucky Cavaliers have found themselves advancing to play the No. 1-seeded Boston Celtics in the second round. Game 1 is scheduled to go down on Tuesday night in Boston. For their part, the Celtics took down the No. 8 Miami Heat in five games in their opening series.
