Ice Cube Speaks Out On The Upcoming Presidential Election.

Ice Cube doesn’t believe that celebrity status is enough to sway votes this presidential election year.

While appearing on Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria on Monday, Cube talked politics, his Big 3 basketball league, and more. During the interview, the rapper and actor was asked if he felt a shift in the Black community as rappers and celebrities have endorsed Trump over the years. In response, Ice Cube said he believes it’s a “personal decision” who people vote for.

“You know, people gonna make a decision on who they want to be president,” he began. “You know, I think it’s a personal decision. I don’t know if they care if any rappers or entertainers get up there and say anything. It’s really a personal decision.”

Speaking in detail about both controversial candidates, he added, “People know who Trump is. People know who Biden is. They gon’ make their decision no matter who gets up there and pushes whatever decision they on. The country knows both of these guys very well. I just think it’s gonna come down to a personal decision.”
